The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau is housed in the historic Charles Bright Visitor Center in the downtown district. The CVB promotes and markets Nacogdoches to individuals, groups and tours and provides visitors to the city with an array of services including tour information, directions, dining and lodging recommendations and much more.

The City of Nacogdoches operates under the council-manager form of government. Under this system, the City Council appoints a City Manager who acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the government.
